E5E is the problem code on my washer. I've double-checked every wire. The front control panel illuminates . When I put it on the spin cycle, it starts and then stops.

A "communication fault between the main control board and the speed control board" is indicated by E5E. The problem is most likely with the control board, or the wiring connecting the two. There is a communication issue. Examine the connections between the control and speed control boards. . If the wiring is in excellent shape, the control board should be repaired.
