In regular, rinse/spin, or drain/spin program modes, the washer will not go into high spin. Obtaining the E43 code. No obstructions in the motor or pump. To push the device into drain and high spin mode, I ran a diagnostic mode test, which worked. I'm waiting to see whether the error and spin issues return. Is it the motor control board or the main control board, if that's the case?

"Excessive break time" is what the E43 error code for the GE Profile washer indicates. It will be necessary to inspect the brake and speed sensors. You might try unplugging the power for 20-30 minutes to reset the appliance. Check for loose connections at the main control board, the motor, and the motor control board if you haven't already.
