Because my washer does not spin quickly enough, it will occasionally fail to empty. An E41 error notice appeared on my screen. So, what are your opinions on the subject? Is it possible that the problem has something to do with the control board?

Disconnect the plug from the J2 connector on the main control board and check for continuity between the pins in the plug. Check the door strike if they say open. If the door strike is in good working order, the door switch should be replaced. Repair the main control board if it shows closed.
