Our washer won't spin; it will go through all of the other cycles, but not the spin cycle? I replaced the water pump, cleaned the hose's trap or filter, and double-checked that it wasn't clogged. Is the control board in the lower rear corner also in need of repair?

You should check to determine whether the door lock assembly on the unit is faulty based on the information you supplied. If this is the case, the unit will not spin out. If it's in good shape and the motor is running well, the motor control unit may need to be repaired.
