I have a Maytag Atlantis Washing Machine Model MAV9600EWW. It has developed this strange problem in which it will turn on the cold water valve for a short duration throughout the wash cycle. It will even do this when the timer is set to OFF. I've looked at the temperature control board 22003618 and don't see any obvious problems like burnt or blown components. So I am wondering if this board is the issue or if it is more of a timer issue because I believe the timer is also electronic (part 22003445). I'm leaning towards the timer only because it will purposely turn on the cold water valve even when the timer is OFF. What is the symptom of a failed temperature control board 22003618. Do you repair the timer 22003445 as well?
Thanks.
