Kenmore washer stops working

My washer is a Kenmore. It stops working about the time it should be turning. It comes to a standstill even on the drain spin cycle after emptying and carefully swaying the garments three times. After checking the water valves, I reinstalled the control board and pump. Is it possible to do a test on the speed control board?

You may check to verify if the speed control board is powered on. Check the J1 connector for 120 volts when calling for a spin. If there is no voltage, check the cabling from the mainboard to the speed control for cracks or damage. The resistance of the motor's windings may be measured. The resistance should be between 4 and 6 ohms. Replace the motor if the readings are off; if the readings are correct and the wiring to the board is in good working condition, repair the speed control board. https://www.upfix.com/product-category/appliances/washing-machine/ is the service link.
