Our GE washer gave an E43 code and it says to repair the control board, but I'm not sure which one has to be repaired.

"Excessive break time" is what the E43 error code for GE Profile washer indicates. It will be necessary to inspect the brake and speed sensors. You might try unplugging the power for 20-30 minutes to reset the appliance. It's a good idea to double-check the electrical connections and harness. There is a communication problem with the unit. Just make sure that no cables or connections are damaged. After checking everything and all looks good. But you still have the same problem, then the control board is most likely faulty.
