Our Frigidaire dryer won't turn on. Getting code E9E . When I press the start button, the lights turn on and there is a clicking sound, but nothing occurs. What should I do now that I'm stumped? Any advice would be really helpful.

When you push the start button, check for power across the grey wire from the board to the motor and the white wire at the motor. If the power is present but the motor does not operate, the motor must be replaced. If there is no electricity coming from the control board then most likely you have a faulty board.
