I'm the proud owner of a Ridgeline 2008. While driving a few months ago, all caution lights illuminated, dash lights faded and brightened occasionally, and there was no readout for miles or oil. The gauge needles would stop registering, then operate randomly again. Everything looked to be fine after changing the batteries, alternator, and belt...but now it's doing it again. In the self-diagnostic mode, I receive error 1, but I can't figure out what it means despite my best efforts. My air conditioner is also acting up, but I'm not sure if it's linked. I changed the fuses for the A/C and compressor beneath the hood. I generally get it to work after running the AC self-diagnosis, but not by simply turning it on. Can somebody please assist me?
