My 2006 Ridgeline instrument cluster has been removed by a Honda mechanic in preparation for repair. I'm thinking of sending it to you. He claims I'll be fine driving the Ridgeline. An older (mostly GMC) technician cautioned me that there had been fires in vehicles operated without a cluster. So, which is the better answer: is it safe or a fire hazard? And, sure, I am aware that I will not have a speedometer or other engine indicators.
