I've questioned repeatedly about my 2004 BMW 535's messed-up LCD display on the instrument cluster. It was done by a man who went by the moniker of Alpine White or something like, but I believe he disappeared. Anyway, I purchased a new cluster on eBay, and as a result, I now possess a replacement screen. Should I simply get the cluster flashed at the dealership and leave it alone? Can you even flash a used one? I purchased it for $40 with the intention of disassembling it and replacing the LCD screens. Anyone with advice? I'm frightened to start taking this apart for fear of accidentally breaking things.
