My 2004 530i's instrument cluster has been acting strangely recently.
First, it began to lose the date and time upon starting the car. Later, the top and/or bottom center displays (between the tachometer and speedometer) ceased showing anything and all that could be seen was the orange light illumination.
The dash was illuminated one day, but the speedometer and tachometer needles did not move. The dash stayed illuminated even after the ignition was switched off and the key was withdrawn.
Anyone have any advice or suggestions?
