Instrument cluster issue with 2003 BMW M5 Convertible. The cluster was entirely dead, except from the airbag, convertible light, and ABS, when the car was switched on after sitting for nearly three months. Car starts easily and drives smoothly. All fuses are in place, and the radio and center overhead light over the rearview mirror alternately turn on and off. Turn signals sound when fuse 34 is disconnected, but the radio stops working, the ABS light on the cluster is gone, and there is no lighting. Have you tried removing the batteries and cluster, and letting the car sit for a week? removing fuse number 43 and letting the vehicle sit for a few days. Uncertain if cluster has to be rebuilt or if it could have a faulty ground. We would appreciate any assistance.
