2003 Audi A6 I'm having the same issue as many others with the LCD dimming as my car warms up. I attempted several DIY repair techniques without luck, so I ultimately bought a cluster from a junkyard. My issue now is if I can simply unhook the old cluster, plug in the new one, and drive away (although with wrong mileage)? I don't have a VAG COM, and the nearest AUDI dealership is hundreds of miles away, so I'm hesitant to connect it in!
