My car is a 2002Audi 1.8T a6. When I start it, the date and time display is reset.
The immobiliser may not deactivate for up to 2 minutes at a time.
The rev counter and speedometer needles occasionally fail to function. If I remove and replace the display fuse, the needles operate normally till the next time I use them.
I want to sell this automobile but need to fix this problem first; any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
The Audi garage advised a new instrument cluster, which would cost around $1,000.
Any thoughts?
