My check engine light and other service lights in the instrument cluster do not work; the only service lights that working are the battery and oil lights. I have been attempting to solve this issue for some time. I was planning to replace the bulbs since I initially believed they were merely burned out, but after removing the cluster, I discovered they were all non-replaceable leds. In addition, I tested the fuses, and they all appeared to be in fine condition. Aside from these few lights, my cluster functions flawlessly. Could this be caused by an ignition switch bug, a defective lcm, or a bad cluster? The 2002 BMW 528i has 230k miles and is flawless other than this issue.
