Inadvertently, my 2001 BMW 740i Sport fell off my props, damaging the stepper motor springs. Then I placed a refurbished cluster order. I attempted to get it recoded at a bmw Indianapolis but was unsuccessful. I'm planning to purchase a new cluster from the dealer, but I'm curious if it will be fully programmed with the right information once I've used the old cluster for 50 miles. OR DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN RECOD THIS REFURBISHED CLUSTER? If the brand-new cluster won't program properly, I don't want to invest the money. Always grateful for your assistance...PLEASE ADVISE SOON!!! Thanks a lot!!!!!
