The instrument cluster needles on my 2000 535ci don't move at all. Even after replacing the stepper motors, nothing has changed. I purchased a second cluster from a local man, put it in, and it functions well. However, it is in mph, and I would love to have kmph and the correct mileage so that selling the car will be much simpler if and when the time comes.
Any ideas as to why none of the needle motors function? Is there a faulty capacitor or another issue?
