The instrument panel and A/C on my wife's 1999 BMW 750 were damaged. There were no issues or indicators that the A/C or gauges were failing. Local BMW repair shop wants $1200 to install a new cluster but makes no guarantees that it will fix the air conditioning. I want to know the drawbacks of not having a dealer reset the replacement cluster before I buy a cluster off of Ebay. Or perhaps you can assist me. I appreciate your support.
