Mr. Cool HVAC/Furnace Control Board Due to a power surge, the exterior control board needs to be repaired.
The first two photos are pictures of the board #'s.
The last photo shows the component that I believe is faulty.
The unit was working correctly. I believe it got a power surge after a storm, as the power was coming back on. I went through a diagnostic process with the manufacturer they determined this board was bad. I checked DC voltage. We determined that the interior unit was sending a single outside and the outside board was not responding. This corresponded to the interior unit trouble code. This is on a Mr. Cool ductless mini split heat pump. I have found that this board is shared with Comfort Aire.

A full diagnostic check should first be performed to eliminate all other possible causes for your symptoms, even if the symptoms match those specified on the common fault description. If you are not sure that this part is the cause of the fault then we recommend that you do not go ahead with this purchase and instead seek further professional advice and diagnosis.
