I have owned the truck close to a year, and has been sitting cause of this issue. First i changed the filter and fluid, drove it for a day or 2 not far at all but the issue was still there. so i parked it til i got all the selodoids all five have been changed did a refill took for a ride now it dont really go into that stuck in gear mode but yet it revs up then dumps into 3rd gear, its not really noticeable from 1st to 2nd mainly 2nd to 3rd is where its happening with hard shifting. This all happens in the beginning of the day like the first drive for about five to ten mins, after that as long as it doesnt sit more then say 6 hours it wont have the issue again till the next day. so i thought it was a cold thing. So i would let the car run for about 10 mins up to operating temperature yet and still it would do it til the 5 or ten minute drive was done n ride normal again. I have no cel on the dash, and i feel like that is my issue of not knowing what the issue could be. Ive read that this was an issue, mine being almost 20 years old looks like the ecu was done in 2014 cause it has a sticker on the back from 2014. Sir what is the likely hood this can be an issue for my truck. if you have any other quetions to what i have done ask away. im sure everything i did to the transmission is here i think. The sooner the better its been parked now for about a month cause of this n its my mobile side job truck so i do need it. oh yea puting it in reverse too it clunks in harder then it should dont know if thats an ecu issue but it does that too.

We received your unit today and entered it into the system not too long ago. As of right now, we don't have any info. We should have some info for you by tomorrow. Keep an eye out for a few emails. We'll keep you updated on your unit along the way. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your due diligence. The pleasure was all mine. We understand these things can become frustrating. Unfortunately, things like this do happen from time to time. Some customers pay hundreds of dollars only to find out the main issue is somewhere else like a battery or a $50.00 sensor.  Yes, I'm confident you won't have issues out of your ECU. Either way, it's still covered under warranty if you have any issues within the next year. We truly appreciate your time and patience. Thank you.

Please don't forget to leave us a rating on the service you received. We are always looking for ways to improve.

No worries. However it won't let me log in. Yet we are trying one more thing. We are gonna go with a valve body now. Its the only thing left to do. Still has the issue of going in to third gear with a slip, for the first 15 mins, then cut it off n I can drive it all day with no issues. So I assume its gotta be the valve body...

Yes I did that twice 30 minutes exactly still does tho I only went around a few blocks to test if it worked. It still does it... but I will go out n check fuses. Which fuses should I check? The ones under the hood looked good at least the ones you can look n see through. No check engine lights at all...

Costumer service was good. I wish I would have know it was the valve body being dirty was my issue. No lights for that either. Could have save 135 buck. At least now I won't have to worry about the ecu... thanks.
