2010 bmw 530 My ECU fails with the message "Function Not Supported" and a communication failure. It appears that I will need to replace the ECU, which should be simple, but I have some coding problems.
Can I code the ECU altogether if I change it? Also, if I replace the ECU, do I have to re-code the CAS and key?
I'd rather not.
If feasible, have you reprogram it with a one-year guarantee rather than paying over $2k for a whole new one as proposed by the BMW store. 😡
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
