My 2010 BMW 525i broke down, so I had it towed to the nearest mechanic. There is no BMW dealer nearby. According to the mechanic, the ECU might be the source of the problem. How would I determine whether the ECU is the true source of the problem? Where can I find the most affordable ECU? Thanks.
