We have a 2005 BMW M5 E60 (VIN: WBSNB91040B559499), which we currently restore mechanically and esthetically.
The ECU (Siemens MSS65) basically works (the car starts and drives normally), but it has been exposed to moisture and/or water. We noticed it because we have had one case of the ECU not working, thus making it impossible to start the car or put it in neutral. The car had been washed in the hours before the issue, and a bit of water was discovered in the ECU when we opened it.
As a result, some connections and components are somewhat oxidised (see pictures attached).
The idea would be to check the components and replace or repair them if necessary and possible.
Can you help us with this?
