Has anyone had their ecu reprogrammed, and if so, how much did it cost? I took my 2004 bmw 530i in for some issues with date and miles missing and cruise control malfunctioning. I was told by the dealer that it was some kind of sensor and that they would reprogram my ecu for around 1100.00 but they weren't sure if this would resolve my issues, to which I replied that for 1100.00 it had better. But how does Antone find out what the going rate for a reprogramed? Any suggestions?
