I'm thinking about buying a secondhand ECU with an APR chip to fit into my 2000 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro Manual transmission. On the APR chip of the donor ECU, there is just one program. I'm not acquainted with the ECU compatibility and immobilizer concerns with the A4. Will this be a compatible match? The ECU with the chip was taken from a 2000 FWD A4 with a manual gearbox...
My ECU component number is 4B0 906 018P, but the donor ECU part number is 4B0 906 018 BG. Is the switch still possible? I'm new to the globe, therefore I went through several threads on the forum to discover the answer to my query. I would appreciate any assistance on this matter.
