08 Lexus GS300 Code P2714 car shifts hard from takeoff, but is fine after 2nd shift. And does it when downshifting when coming to a stop.

We should be able to resolve and primary and secondary codes if there is indeed an issue with the ECU itself. However, I would suggest you check the transmission fluid levels and the filter, because debris, poor connection, wiring, and the solenoids themselves can also be at fault. If you've already inspected those trouble areas and deduced it to be the ECU, send it in and we can do a diagnostic on it.
