2006 bmw 325 My ECU has an intermittent fault where the automatic transmission fault light comes on and the car goes into limp mode. After turning the car ignition off for a few seconds and then restarting the engine, the car returns to normal until the next time, which could be the same day or a few weeks later.
I got the sensors changed, but it didn't solve the problem, so I bought a used car ECU.
Could you kindly assist me in installing/replacing the defective one?
