At any point during the cycle, the dishwasher does not drain. The drain tube and internal air gap are clear, as is the line from the tub's bottom to the pump impeller, as far as I can see. The filter screens were removed, as well as the drain pump impeller cover, which was also clear. The impeller rotates with the graduated resistance that you'd expect from a direct-drive electric motor. A standard cycle or a wash and hold cycle will be used in the dishwasher. Other cycles, as well as cancel and drain, are not selectable. Could all of these be signs of a faulty control board? Is there anything else that could go wrong and prevent it from draining? Is it possible that the drain pump is still to blame?

Frist step will be to check is that when the dishwasher calls for draining, the dishwasher controller sends electricity to the drain pump.
