I have a Bosch dishwasher with faulty control board. I had sent to another repair company prior to finding yours and they said they found a bad “micro” and didn’t have one in stock to replace it. Tried to get a more specific description of what micro was bad, but the company wouldn’t further discuss and is just sending board back. The dishwasher works, except the water isn’t heated. Is this something you guys could fix if it is a bad micro. I’m assuming micro is microchip?
Thanks
Thank you for reaching out. It can be either a microchip, which will be hard to find considering the chip shortage, or its microprocessor. The microprocessor is responsible for loading the software. The manufacturer does not provide software for us to use and program. Have you checked the heating element and heating sensors? Sometimes the wiring harness will have exposed wires, Make sure all connections are clean and fully seated in its housing. If those suggestions don't help, then the board or the entire unit will more than likely need to be replaced. Hopefully, this gives you a little more clarity. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out.
My Pleasure!
Thank you for the advice
