My 2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 with a 6.6L Duramax LLY Diesel has a bad Fuel Injection Control Module
(FICM). The module throws code:
U0105 : Fuel Injection Control Module Loss of Communication.
P2149: Fuel Injector Group "B" Supply Voltage Circuit/Open.
P2146: Fuel Injector Group “A” Supply Voltage Circuit/Open.
No fuses are blown and all wiring harnesses are in good working condition.
Can you rebuild this Module?
GM does NOT supply this module nor repair it anymore.
Thanks in advance for the help.
We’ve never done one before but we can do a diagnostic on it. Check the wiring going into the FICM unit if their getting power and ground to and from, we can run a diagnostic on it and then give you a quote for repair once it's here
Yes sir the strap has been cut and the complete wiring harness has been checked for cracked, frayed or broken wires. Both connectors to the module were checked for bent pins and ohmed for continuity. I installed a friends FICM and the truck fired right up an all codes were gone. I just need mine fixed since there are none available.
Thank you..
