My vehicle is a 2001 Highlander with automatic temperature control. I took the car to the dealer for an unrelated issue, and when I returned it, the LED reading on the temperature setting was frozen at 65 degrees, and I couldn't adjust it. I protested to the service manager, who informed me that the problem was not caused by anything they did to the automobile. They returned the automobile and were able to alter the setting to 75 degrees, but the setting remains stuck.
Is it possible to perform a self-diagnosis program on this control unit?
Thanks
