The 2000 BMW X5 has gone mad. I have the automated version, which has the option of automatically recirculating the air.
Essentially, it runs at full blast 80% of the time, occasionally switching to a more pleasant fan mode, but rapidly returning to full blast.
Even when I manually down the fan speed to one little bar, it remains on full blast. When I turn it off (0 bars), it sometimes wakes up and blasts full blast.
How do I go about troubleshooting this?
To be honest, I'm not particularly car-handy.
