If certain functions the FRM is responsible for still aren't working please check the main fuses for those functions.
Depending on what year, make, and model you have, the place for these fuses may vary as well as the numbers. For example on select BMW E90 3-Series vehicles, there is a fuse box behind the glovebox specifically fuses 42 and 68 for light control issues. (image attached)
Also, make sure the correct AMP fuse is installed in the corresponding fuse locations for the issues still at fault.
