I've been attempting to roll down the windows on my 1999 BMW 318. According to a mechanic acquaintance, the motors and actuators are OK. He stated that the windows will roll down, but you must turn the motors around for them to rise. He said it was most likely related to the body control module. You'll probably advise me to look, but I'd like to know if anyone else feels the same way and how I can acquire one without going to a dealer. I looked on eBay and nobody had it or was selling it. Is there anything more I could try?
