I disconnected the battery of my Mitsubishi Eclipse gst turbo 2.0L automatic trans. So after connected back, the idle goes up as 3,000 rpm. But I heard this kind of car needs to relearn the ecu, manually I already did but didn’t work, maybe you guys que do that?

Thank you for contacting us. Can you tell me what codes are you  getting? The only way a relearn can be done is by actually driving the car having it go through a single diagnostic cycle which is usually up to 100 miles. The ECU relearns all the necessary parameters. Also per some basic research, the gaskets on the throttle body are known to be a weak point for early 2000s eclipses. It'd be good know if you  had any mechanic work done on it recently even though he noticed it only after disconnecting battery.

So That can only be done in the car through driving
