If a new ABS Control Module was purchased, does it have to be programmed? Can you program it? How much would that cost?

If you have a replacement module then most of the time it will be required to be additionally programmed to your vehicle. It is always a good idea to have your original part repaired to avoid this issue. To program a replacement unit, first make sure the part numbers are the same and it will need to be done while the part is on your vehicle.
