Jeep Wrangler 2013 The technician advised me that if it happens again, an ABS module is definitely acting up and should be replaced.
He was telling me information that makes sense. It was in the same limp mode I've seen before since it was stuck in second. It appears that the gearbox didn't know what gear to be in since the ECU was unsure of which wheels were rotating at what speed. Does this frequently occur? Has anyone else encountered this problem? To obtain better mileage, we were already shopping for a replacement, but I'd hate to trade it in and have someone else be saddled with this issue. Is this module repairable?
