2016 Jeep Patriot with an ABS light was taken to a dealer. The dealer now claims that the ABS module is broken. It's funny how the narrative keeps evolving. Damaged ABS module costs $2,000. Strange... they also state $850 installed, so it looks like a costly diagnostic approach... Although they are still unsure if it would fix the lighting problem, they must accomplish this first. With all of the computers on board, I find it incredible that they are unable to identify the problem more quickly with something as "electrical" in nature as these lights turning on.
