2011 bmw x6 My DSC module appears to have failed.
This has been an intermittent problem for some time, and suddenly the DSC/ABS fails with both the DSC and yellow brake lights on permanently. After their testing, the shop I'm hiring states that the only way to remedy this is to replace both the unit and the hydraulic DSC module. The cost of the part alone new is $2600-3500, not counting materials and labor, which is patently ridiculous, and there must be a more cost-effective approach to resolve this.
Has anyone have success with a company that rebuilds these units?
