2011 BMW 318 My friend is in severe need of a car, and her ABS module has failed. It is currently at the dealer, seeking a $1500 repair quote.
Reading about it, it appears to be rather simple to rebuild and reinstall the module.
While I've done a lot of maintenance on my car (and some on hers), she has a high level of trust with the dealer.
Is this as easy as it appears? And if I put the same one back in the car, I shouldn't even have to re-program it, should I? Are you able to repair this ABS Module?
