2010 Audi A6 defective ABS control module

amy f

I own a 2010 Audi A6. A defective ABS control module connected to the brake cylinder is the source of the problem. Moisture gets into the device and shorts out the circuit board, causing the ABS/Brake lights to illuminate in the dash. I phoned and emailed Audi USA headquarters about this, and the most they can do is sell the device at a discount—the item costs $1800-2100 US dollars. Audi USA agreed to sell it to me for $1500 + tax. Dealers charge between $2,500 and $2,800 to replace. Another possibility is to have it reconstructed. So I'm hoping you folks can assist me. Thank you very much.
