I own a 2008 BMW 545. My ABS light illuminated, and my car now refuses to shift above third gear. I removed the ABS hydraulic pump from under the hood and delivered it to another company. They were unable to repair it, said it still failed tests, and returned it to me. When I removed the black cover from the front of the ABS pump, all that was left were the circuit leads connecting the pump solenoids to the electrical connector, which is also part of the black cover. When I search for ABS parts on RealOEM, I see that there is an ABS hydraulic pump as well as a separate ABS control module. I have two issues.
