Based on your assistance and some other readings, the ABS control module in a 2006 GMC Safari Van is malfunctioning. They apparently run when the key is withdrawn and destroy the battery as well. The bad news is that it appears to be a 300.00-$450.00 component. The good news is that it appears that I can just pull the fuse and be done with it.
Repair-wise I'm betting there's a failed or stuck relay in there that can be repaired I hope
