ABS/TCS warning lights on in a 2006 Corvette. C1214 is the DTC code. The service handbook recommends replacing the EBCM. lookinup:
You could have purchased one from GMPartsDirect.com for $780 with free delivery, but there are no refunds and dealerships will not install components you do not purchase from them. So I'd have had to go approximately an hour away and take a day off work to get it installed at the local Corvette shop. I believe I could have replaced it myself, but I wanted to go to a shop that had a diagnostic tool to ensure there was nothing else wrong.
In my location, the local dealership requested $1106 before tax and $85 per hour for labor.
Do you have the ability to fix or rebuild my ABS module?
