ABS light stays on when ABS is connected. When ABS is disconnected, there is weird braking, of course (sounds/vibrations). The pump itself is fine, according to my mechanic.
I can send pictures of the part if you need. This is for an AWD vehicle, part # 44050-01050 (also says 89541-01070 and 8D).
If needed parts are not available for this repair, is it possible for me to purchase a used one (e.g., off eBay) and have it sent to you so you can use the parts? (These would be ones that have been tested.)
I'm not certain my mechanic has the ability to reprogram a new (used) part with the VIN, so I'm very keen to do a rebuild. This project has already been very challenging!
