I drive a 2005 STS. Recently, I've been getting a quick and consistent dash alert that says "service stability system."
When I look at the code, I notice the following:
C1243 is the DTC type.
DTC C1243 BPMV Pump Motor Has Stopped
ABS is the material type.
ABS/TCS ABS/TCS Indicator
Is this an indication that the ABS pump has failed? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is it possible that water may cause an ABS pump to fail? The cost of replacing an ABS pump is over $2000! Can it be repaired?
