2005 CTS (Cadillac) I haven't been here in a long time, and the Caddy has been behaving herself up until now. The "Service Stability System" alert has surfaced, along with two codes. In addition, three lights, ABS, Brake, and TCS, are flashed in the lower right hand corner of the dash.
C1214....System Ready Contact or Coil Circuit Open is one of the codes.
C1248....EBCM When the Red Brake Warning Indicator on C1214 is turned on, it refers to an internal EBTCM relay. Although you can try detaching, checking, and cleaning the EBTCM connector, that code typically indicates that the EBTCM has to be replaced.
