2004 Cadillac Deville ABS Module

sent abs module that Donnie was working on. I have a few questions:

1. No where did I see NOT TO MAIL PUMP.
2. I am not certified in working on that unit to even know what part of it was leaking.
3. If I experience any abnormalities or continual leaking, what am I paying to
have repaired ?

In 16 years this is the only issue I have had in 28000 miles of me owning it.

I looked on the website and it says to send only ABS module "DON"T SEND PUMP". The repairs that were completed were intermittent functionality issues. We don't service the pump itself. If you are having a leaking issue with the pump, then you might need to replace it.

If your HCU is leaking it would be very dangerous driving it like that. You know the module is good, so I would get a replacement pump to repair the issue.

The module is removed from the HCU so it can be repaired. There are times a seal can start leaking after it is reassembled. If that is the only issue, then all you would need to do is replace the seals. You can normally get the seals separately for an auto parts store

yes when I sent unit I read or saw anything saying about the pump. When I got a response indicating you all received the unit that's when it appeared in addition with the notice of a completion date.

In my statement sending the pump I clearly indicated the pump.
I printed out the delivery form and even waited two days before I.mailed it and read directions again to make sure.
But my unit did not leak until I flushed the system out and bled brakes after replacing the front calipers.

Ok thank you, I just think your add was kind of misleading. I will send money Friday when I get paid again. ### ONE QUESTION PLEASE: If the pump did not leak when caliper acted up at first and lights never came on the dash at all, could the part you repaired make it leak “temporarily “ after draining entire unit and reassembling it? That’s when it started leaking for the first time.
