The brake light on the truck I'm looking at, a 2000 GMC Canyon, was sporadically going on and off. The truck, it turns out, needs a new module. I'm guessing the only thing that has to be replaced is the abs, but I'm not sure how much it will cost. I'd be grateful if somebody could guide me in the direction of a website where I might get one, and maybe one with clear installation instructions. I'd like to do it myself to save money, but if it proves too tough, I can take it to a mechanic.
